Howdy! I have a niece working in the field of autism in Boston. I have a request of you. My work is with a parrot who communicates using English. Because of your son's interest in parrots, I hope you can interest him in my bird and the bird's speech. Adults often do not understand the bird---usually they get under 4%. Check her web site. There are seven samples with transcriptions. On the book page there are 19 samples, some that are very difficult. I will be interested whether your son perceives any of it. If you interest him in the site will you keep a record of his responses about the words and his general reactions? Thanks.
